Our Piltates Offering

What kind of Pilates do you offer in Maitland?

We're the only studio in Maitland offering the complete Pilates method across the full range of apparatus. Our two core offerings are Studio Pilates (personalised, equipment-based sessions) and Group Mat Pilates classes. Whichever you choose, you're practising authentic, method-based Pilates with experienced instructors.

What is Studio Pilates?

Studio Pilates delivers the full Pilates method in a semi-private or private setting, using all of our studio apparatus: the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector. Every session is personalised to your individual goals, whether that's building strength, improving mobility, supporting recovery, or refining your technique. It's the most tailored way to practise Pilates with us.

Do you offer Reformer Pilates?

Yes — the Reformer is one of the apparatus used within our Studio Pilates sessions, alongside the Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector. Rather than limiting you to a single piece of equipment, our Studio Pilates draws on the full method so your sessions can be adapted to exactly what your body needs. If you've enjoyed Reformer work before, you'll love having the whole studio at your disposal.

What's the difference between Studio Pilates and Mat Pilates?
Studio Pilates is equipment-based, semi-private or private, and fully personalised to your goals using the full range of apparatus. Mat Pilates is a group class focused on whole-body movement using your own body weight and small props, in a supportive class setting. Studio Pilates suits those wanting individual attention or working around an injury or specific goal; Mat Pilates suits those who enjoy the energy of a group and a guided full-body workout. What Mat Pilates classes do you run?We offer three group Mat Pilates class types: Foundation Mat (great for building the fundamentals), Dynamic Fusion Mat (a stronger, flowing full-body workout) and Rest & Restore Mat (a slower, restorative session). Our Mat room is limited to 12 people to keep the environment calm and personal. Check the timetable for current class times.

Wellness and Recovery

Do you have an infrared sauna?

Yes. Our infrared sauna sessions support recovery, reduce stress and aid relaxation, and can benefit cardiovascular health, inflammation and muscle recovery with regular use. The sauna room is limited to two people for a private, calming experience. It's a beautiful way to round out your movement practice.

Do you offer remedial massage?

Yes — our experienced Remedial Massage Therapists offer treatments that target tension, support recovery and aid the treatment of sports injuries and chronic pain. Our therapists are trained in techniques including dry needling and cupping, and treatments can help reduce muscle pain and inflammation while improving range of motion. Get in touch to book a treatment in our dedicated treatment room.

Do you have an intro offer for new clients?

Yes, we have two great ways to start. Our Mat Intro Offer is 3 Group Mat classes for $50, and our Studio Intro Offer is an Initial Assessment plus 2 semi-private Studio sessions for $135. Both are designed to let you experience the studio and find the right fit before committing.

How much do classes cost?

Our full pricing for casual classes, class packs and memberships is available on our Pricing page. New clients are welcome to begin with one of our intro offers above, which are the best-value way to try the studio.

Practical Details

What should I wear and bring to my first session?

Wear comfortable activewear you can move freely in. We recommend grip socks for studio equipment and Mat classes (these can usually be purchased at the studio if you don't have a pair), and bring a water bottle. Just arrive a few minutes early for your first visit so we can welcome you and show you around.

Who are your instructors?

Our team is led by Studio Director Bronte Tuit, alongside qualified instructors Stephanie Hancox, Alysha McBride and Lauren Watson. Every instructor is highly trained and experienced, and shares our belief that movement heals. You can read more about each of them on our About page.

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes — our central Maitland location at 31–33 Bourke St offers convenient parking, making it easy to fit your practice into your day.
